our home is located near Kaslo, towards the upper end of 100 mile long Kootenay Lake.

The Purcell Mountains dominate the view to the east, whereas looking south you see the full lenght of the lake.

From the pebble beach below us you can swim, kayak, fish.

Because our home is on a peninsula, at the end of a cul-desac road, we do not hear the traffic noise that most waterfront homes in the Kootenays have to put up with.

Within a range of 30 km you can choose from any kind of adventure:

hike to the Alpine meadows, walk thru a river canyon, watch grizzly bears feed...
